COLORADO -- Colorado is rated No. 3 on a new list of the “10 Best States for Entrepreneurs and Startups,” according to The Motley Fool.
Colorado’s high ranking was based in part on the state’s high number of 25-to-34-year-olds, coming in at nearly 40 percent of the population.
On the downside, the list makers said Denver’s exploding housing market could make it more expensive to find affordable office space in the city.
The 10 best places for startups are:
- Washington, D.C.
- North Dakota
- Colorado
- Nebraska
- Utah
- Delaware
- Missouri
- Massachusetts
- Idaho
- Oklahoma
The 10 worst states, according to The Motley Fool, are:
