COLORADO -- Colorado placed No. 2 on “The Best & Worst States to Live In” recently released by 24/7 Wall Street.Colorado_logoUSE 

Colorado’s high rating noted it has:

  • 7th highest in 10-year population increase
  • 15th lowest unemployment in 2018
  • 7th lowest poverty rate
  • 7th longest life expectancy (80.5 years)

The Top 10 places to live on the list were:

  • Massachusetts
  • Colorado
  • New Jersey
  • Hawaii
  • Connecticut
  • Minnesota
  • Maryland
  • New Hampshire
  • Washington
  • Virginia

The bottom five states considered the worst places to live (all in the South) were:

  • Kentucky
  • Arkansas
  • Louisiana
  • West Virginia
  • Mississippi
