AUSTIN, TX -- Six Colorado startups have been named finalists in the SXSW Eco 2015 Startup Showcase set for Oct. 5-7 at the Austin Convention Center in Texas.
Now in its fourth year, the SXSW Eco’s Startup Showcase is a rapid-fire pitch competition spotlighting innovative, early-stage companies in the areas of energy, IoT + software, reuse + recycling, social impact, supply chain + product innovation, water and international innovations.
Finalists in the categories were selected out of a pool of hundreds of applicants from around the world.
In the last three years, participating companies have gone on to raise nearly $40 million in funding and acquired global brands as clients.
Colorado-based companies selected as finalists are:
- Quanta3, Longmont
- Sustainable Power Systems, Boulder
- Amp Robotics, Boulder
- Living Ink, Denver
- Mallinda, Aurora
- Revolar, Denver
“Each year, we are honored to spotlight the startups offering the most innovative new solutions to our social and environmental challenges,” said Carolyn Harrold, SXSW Eco head of programming.
