Colorado Venture Summit set for June 11 with Scott McNealy giving keynote
Monday June 1, 2015
DENVER -- The Colorado Venture Summit, the state’s premier venture capital event, is set for June 11 at Coors Field in downtown Denver.
This year’s keynote speaker is Scott McNealy, co-founder of Sun Microsystems.
The event allows participants to meet most of Colorado’s venture-backed CEOs, along with venture capitalists from dozens of firms, organizers said.
Last year, 42 venture capitalists attended the event with 23 from out-of-state. Of Colorado’s venture-backed companies, more than 60 percent attended the event in 2014.
Organizers said last year’s venture summit sold out a month in advance and those interested in attending should register ASAP.
The event also includes optional coordinated on-site visits the day after for companies selected by participants.
