Colorado IoT startups to be showcased today at Silicon Valley investor event

CENTENNIAL -- Eight teams that completed TechrIoT’s six-month accelerator program will be showcased today at a Colorado Demo Day event for investors in Silicon Valley.

The event will be held at the Jabil Blue Sky Center, 6375 San Ignacio Ave. in San Jose, Calif.

Teams participating are:

• U Grok It
• Pet Wireless
• Envio Systems
• Knocki
• GoFire
• LockState
• Place Global

During the TechrIoT program – called TechrIoT XLR8 – the startups focused on optimizing their business plans, accessing capital and other issues essential to advancing their Internet of Things (IoT) companies.

Today’s event will also celebrate the launch of the official TechrIoT Outburst community in Silicon Valley, organizers said, which will include monthly events and collaborative opportunities.

“Colorado is ripe for investment in IoT startups,” said Vic Ahmed, Innovation Pavilion CEO and president.

“We want to bring the success of our Colorado-based accelerator to Silicon Valley and be the bridge connecting investors and tech companies with promising entrepreneurs.”
