DENVER -- Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF) announced the hiring of Nim Patel to fill a newly created chief operating officer (COO) position overseeing enhancements to CEF operations and IT processes as the organization expands to serve more small businesses statewide.
Two existing CEF employees have also been promoted to new director roles effective Oct. 1: Tina Robinson from controller to director of finance and Teresa Vanderbosch from manager of operations to its director.
Together, CEF said these employees bring extensive financial, operational, and technological expertise to support the organization’s continued growth in delivering small business financing and advisory services to new and existing entrepreneurs across Colorado.
As new COO, Patel guides the operations of CEF through strategic direction and support with an emphasis on leveraging technology for scale and efficiency.
Prior to joining CEF, Patel spent 20+ years managing all facets of early-stage and high-growth businesses including C-Level positions in finance, operations and technology.
He is active in the nonprofit community, holding multiple board and consulting roles over the years. Patel holds a Bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Georgia as well as a Master of business administration degree in marketing from Emory University.
Robinson expands her former controller role to direct all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and loan servicing for the organization.
Prior to joining CEF in 2012, she worked as an auditor and consultant at Arthur Andersen and Andersen Consulting, ran her own business for five years, and became a controller and director of finance in various private equity companies.
Robinson is an active CPA in Colorado and earned her Bachelor of Arts in accounting degree from Portland State University in Oregon.
As director of operations, Vanderbosch will oversee all areas of internal administration including day-to-day activities, human resources, staff supervision, and vendor services.
Prior to joining CEF in 2006, she developed and managed the customer service department and staff of a title insurance company, combined with over 20 years of additional experience in private-sector sales, marketing and customer service.
Vanderbosch holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of business administration degree from the University of Denver.
“As the internal core of our dynamic leadership team, Nim, Tina and Teresa possess the specific expertise our growing organization needs,” said Ceyl Prinster, CEF’s president and CEO.
“Their respective backgrounds in IT development, finance and operations will position CEF for continued success in our industry.”
