DENVER -- Colorado Access, a nonprofit health plan that serves members throughout Colorado, has joined Catalyst HTI, a healthcare innovation campus located in the River North (RiNo) district in Denver.
Colorado Access is the only organization in Colorado caring for members across the continuum of health services, from Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) physical and behavioral health to Child Health Plan Plus and long-term services and supports.
“A Catalyst membership puts us right in the thick of things in terms of health care innovation,” said Paula Kautzmann, Colorado Access CIO.
“To work within close proximity to other health organizations furthers the collaboration and commitment to improving the health of Coloradans.”
Colorado Access is a locally based nonprofit health plan that’s been changing the health care landscape in Colorado for more than two decades. Their history and broad view of the Colorado health care system allows them to stay focused on members’ unique needs while creating integrated systems to serve them better.
Using an integrated health care model, the company engages with community partners and providers to bring the two sides together to coordinate resources in a way that’s most beneficial to members.
“We look forward to being part of health care innovation in Colorado,” said Marshall Thomas, CEO of Colorado Access.
“We’ve been at this for more than 20 years, and Catalyst provides the avenue to collaborate and innovate across company lines.”
“Having Colorado Access a part of the journey at Catalyst brings a unique and important perspective to our community in RiNo, given their leadership position as a non-profit Medicaid health plan here in our state,” said Mike Biselli, Catalyst HTI co-founder and president.
"Their expertise and passion will make the ideas and innovative opportunities more vibrant and abundant at Catalyst.”
