CirrusMD expands virtual care, partners with Integrated Delivery Network in Washington
Wednesday March 14, 2018
DENVER -- CirrusMD, a leading Virtual Care Platform™ company, today announced it expanded its partnership with the leading Integrated Delivery Network.
Through this partnership, CirrusMD said the nation's largest Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) opens the doors to virtual care to 680,000 covered lives in the state of Washington, the second region to go live nationally.
Members can simply visit their member portal to chat with a local doctor who is able to treat many conditions from the privacy of their own home, work, school or wherever is most convenient for them.
As innovators in care access, the IDN added the CirrusMD solution to their member's secure mobile experience in mid-February 2018 and is already experiencing high utilization with a thousand encounters in the first month.
"This is a very forward thinking and innovative customer looking for new ways to integrate technology which will enhance the patient experience, act as a differentiator in the market, and create a new care channel for members to access care," said Robyn Dietz, director of account management who led the project.
CirrusMD said its Virtual Care Platform is designed to give instant access to real doctors and healthcare professionals so members can manage their health as easily as they manage the rest of their life.
"We're excited to expand our strong partnership with this large IDN,” said Andy Altorfer, CirrusMD co-founder and CEO.
“Together, we deliver care effectively and efficiently to hundreds of thousands of members.”
CirrusMD said the Virtual Care Platform simplifies the journey to better care by creating a single chat-first destination to resolve a member's health needs virtually, reduce the need for in-person visits and increase member satisfaction.
