CSU Ventures seeks abstracts for Demo Day, to host Startup Week event downtown on Thursday

FORT COLLINS -- CSU Ventures, the technology transfer and  commercialization arm of Colorado State University, is seeking abstracts from graduate and post-doctoral students for the fifth annual CSU Demo Day set for April 27.CSU_Ventures_logoUSE

Abstracts are sought for a poster showcase and must be submitted by March 10.

Forty-plus posters will be selected from across campus in the categories of engineering, creative works, life science and physical science. Demo Day attendees will vote on the best poster and cash prizes will be awarded.

CSU Ventures will also host a speaker series and networking session on Thursday (March 2) from 3-5 p.m. at the Downtown Artery, 252 Linden St., as part of Fort Collins Startup Week, Feb. 27-March 3.

Speakers for the Startup Week session include Steve Albers, CSU Ventures licensing manager; Gregg Steinberg, Growcentia; Elizabeth Ryan, Sathi; and Syed Reza, Nexus Bioenergy.

A happy hour and networking will be held from 4-5 p.m.
