CRISPR program to focus on gene-editing technology

FORT COLLINS -- CSU Ventures will present “Perspectives from Industry: Harnessing the Power and Potential of CRISPR to Transform Medicine” on Feb. 21.
Vic Myer, chief technical officer with Editas Medicine, will lead the presentation.
CRISPR is new gene-editing technology that can give scientists the ability to alter an organism’s DNA and is being explored for the prevention and treatment of disease.
The event is the final edition of CSU Ventures’ 2017-2018 State of Innovation Series.
The presentation will be given in the Long’s Peak Room of Lory Student Center on the Colorado State University campus from 3-4 p.m.
