The Oil and Gas Cleantech Challenge is a product innovation showcase and competition that connects clean technology solutions to the oil and natural gas industry.

As the oil and natural gas industry evolves and faces challenging markets, they continue to invest in technologies that address methane mitigation, resource usage, water quality and operational risks.

CCIA said this year’s Challenge is also looking for companies with blockchain and Big Data technologies.

Innovative solutions providers will enter a competitive vetting process, after which 10-12 companies will be invited to present their technologies to the partners and sponsors on Sept. 6 in Denver.

There are no geographic restrictions or requirements for participating companies. All participating companies have an opportunity to connect on potential commercial contracts, and the winning company receives a $5,000 prize.

This year’s program partners include ConocoPhillips, BP, Noble Energy, Canada, Wells Fargo and Altira.
