THORNTON -- Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: ASTI), developer and maker of thin-film PV modules integrated into the company’s EnerPlex series of consumer products, today announced the debut of two new product lines at CES 2016 in Las Vegas.
The Kickr Mini is a lightweight, 8-watt solar charging-and-battery solution that folds to the size of a smartphone, Ascent said. Equipped with an integrated 5,000 mAh battery, the Kickr Mini is the most powerful pocket-size solar power generation and storage solution available.
The Jumpr Fit platform is the next generation of power banks from EnerPlex. With dual lightning and micro-USB tethers, the Jumpr Fit can charge not only smartphones and other electronics but wearable electronics as well, Ascent said.
CES 2016 is the world’s largest showcase of what’s new in consumer technology products and services. The event begins today and runs through Jan. 9.
