1 Million Cups NoCo was created by Lee Porter, InnovatioNews publisher; Chris Snook, Launch Haus owner and founder of Fort Collins Startup Week; and McCabe Callahan, local entrepreneur and owner of Mugs coffee shops.

The 1 Million Cups program was created by the Kansas City-based Kauffman Foundation and has licensed chapters across the U.S.

The program is designed to help startup business owners polish their business presentations and network with others in the same stage of business creation.

The meetings are held from 9-10 a.m. every Wednesday morning. 1 MillionCups NoCo meetings were originally held in the basement of the old Fort Collins Museum in Library Park. They have most recently been held in the basement of Mugs Coffee Lounge, 261 S. College Ave.
