BioBoot Camp 2013 extends application deadline to April 5

DENVER - The application deadline for bioscience startup companies interested in taking part in BioBoot Camp 2013 has been extended from April 3 to April 5.
Hosted by the Colorado BioScience Association and presented by Dorsey and Whitney LLP, the two-day event on April 18-19 will be held at the law offices of Dorsey and Whitney, 1400 Wewatta St., Suite 400.
The focus of the event is to help startup owners learn how to build a company from experienced entrepreneurs.
Day One sessions include:
- "So You Want to Start a Life Science Company" (overview)
- "Nuts and Bolts of Starting a Business"
- "Protecting Your Technology"
- "Transitioning Your Management Team"
- "Compensating Your Management Team"
- "State and Community Resources"
- "Angel, Venture Capital and Strategic Investors"
- "Getting the Deal Done: Diligence and Term Sheets"
Second Day sessions include:
- "Drugs and Vaccines: Preclinical Development/Regulatory Affairs"
- "Medical Device and Diagnostic: Development Part/Regulatory Affairs
- "Clinical Development Overview"
- "Reimbursement: Drugs, Devices and Diagnostics"
