DENVER - HOSTING, a leading provider of managed-cloud services, today announced it appointed tech guru Andrew Schroepfer to serve as the company's chief strategy officer.
Schroepfer will lead several new initiatives to directly benefit businesses seeking innovative and inspirational tactics to drive their digital strategies, HOSTING said.
"Andy's advice and analysis has helped shape the hosting, SaaS and cloud industries since inception," said Art Zeile, HOSTING CEO. "I am delighted that Andy will join our executive team and even more excited to leverage his creativity and strategic insights for the benefit of our customers."
Schroepfer has two decades of leadership roles as an analyst, investor and strategist with Rackspace and Goldman Sachs. He has founded four successful companies, including Tier1 Research, a hosting industry research organization sold to 451 Group in 2005, and Exponential Capital, a tech sector hedge fund that realized a 250 percent return in four years.
"The HOSTING foundation of exceptional service, coupled with its early leadership in unified cloud solutions, makes this an exciting time to join," Schroepfer said.
"We are on our way to being a thriving global leader, and I am excited to add a new layer of value for businesses large and small who turn to HOSTING to guide and serve their cloud journeys."
