GREELEY - EcoVapor Recovery Systems, an innovative vapor recovery equipment provider to the oil-and-gas industry, recently hosted Gov. John Hickenlooper for a ceremonial signing of HB14-1011, the Advanced Industry Economic Development Funding Bill.

The bill speeds the flow of grant dollars into the Advanced Industries Acceleration program, which helps industries in the state considered vital to advancing the state's economy.

In March, EcoVapor Recovery Systems was selected as an Advanced Industries Early-Stage Capital and Retention grant recipient of $250,000.

ERS said the funds will be used to build and deploy additional vapor recovery units for new Colorado customers. The units help increase energy production while reducing air pollution.

"This technology allows oil-and-gas producers to convert would-be air emissions into a saleable product," said Hans Mueller, ERS' CTO.
