DENVER - Accuvant, a Denver-based information security company, announced it has been named to the Inc. 500/5000 for the sixth year in a row, moving up nearly 300 positions from last year.
The company's ranking in 2012 is based on thee-year revenue growth of 141 percent - a 27 percent increase over 2011.
"Nearly 85 percent of our business comes from repeat clients, which is a testament to the quality of the information security expertise, guidance and solutions we deliver to public and private organizations alike," said Dan Burns, Accuvant co-founder and CEO.
Since its founding in 2002, more than 4,500 organizations - including half of the Fortune 100 and 800 federal, state and local entities - have chosen Accuvant for their security solutions, the company said.
"Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500/5000 growth companies to spur innovation, provide jobs and drive the economy forward," said Eric Schurenberg, Inc. editor. "Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is."
Earlier this year, Accuvant was named by the Denver Business Journal as the eighth-fastest-growing private company in Denver, and by CRN magazine as one of North America's top solution providers.
