BROOMFIELD -- The fourth annual Western Power Summit begins today and continues into Wednesday at the Omni Interlocken Hotel in Broomfield.
Hundreds of power company representatives, industry and government leaders will attend the three-day conference.
Panel discussions and presentations will dominate days one and two, with a tour of the Energy System Integration Facility at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden set for Wednesday.
Today’s sessions include a roundtable discussion of Western Electric Policy Priorities, Big Data: Big Headache or Big Opportunity, and New Life for Coal in the Western Power Mix.
