DENVER -- ProtectWise, the enterprise security company that delivers pervasive visibility, automated threat detection, and unlimited forensic exploration, and California-based Ixia, a leading provider of network testing, visibility, and security solutions, today announced an integration partnership that will offer enterprises a comprehensive solution for end-to-end visibility across enterprise, mixed cloud, and multi-cloud environments.ProtectWise_logoUSE

“Moving enterprise workloads to the cloud can create stumbling blocks for security teams, as they no longer have the network packet visibility needed to be effective,” said Ramon Peypoch, ProtectWise chief product officer.

“Ixia CloudLens helps ProtectWise solve this problem by providing full, easy, and highly scalable visibility in the public cloud. The joint Ixia and ProtectWise solution also provides automated threat detection and unlimited forensic exploration.”

The Ixia CloudLens platform provides visibility across all cloud environments — public, private, and hybrid clouds. CloudLens Private, the arm that supports private cloud technologies, is able to tap, filter, process, and manipulate traffic all in a cloud environment.

CloudLens Public addresses cloud security needs through a secure, intelligent visibility platform that leverages metadata tags and is built as a cloud-native SaaS with a serverless architecture.

“CloudLens simplifies capture of network traffic from public cloud, virtual, or physical environments and delivers it seamlessly to The ProtectWise Grid,” said Scott Westlake, Ixia’s VP of corporate development and strategic alliances.

“Through this integration, ProtectWise and Ixia offer security professionals pervasive visibility across all of their network environments.”

ProtectWise and Ixia will hold a joint webinar to deliver an overview of the joint solution’s capabilities for customers on Wednesday, July 19, at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET.
