DENVER -- Innosphere will host a public reception to discuss the newly created Israel-Colorado Innovation Fund partnership on April 26.
The reception will be held at Brownstein Law, 410 17th St. in downtown Denver, from 6-8 p.m.
Organizers said attendees will meet the most promising Israeli energy companies, learn about the financial options that exist for collaborating with these startups, and gain a better understanding of these collaborations happening between Israel and Colorado:
- The U.S. Department of Energy’s relationship with the Israel Ministry of Energy.
- The Israel-Colorado Innovation Fund’s (ICI Fund) partnership with the Israel Innovation Authority. The ICI Fund is a seed-stage venture capital fund focused on investing in innovative Israeli startups in the water, energy, transportation and IoT sectors while connecting them with the U.S. market through Colorado.
The reception is a ceremonial event launching the partnership between the U.S. Department of Energy and the Israel Ministry of Energy.
Invitees include investors, local companies and large corporations that wish to meet the most promising Israeli energy companies.
The event will also include welcoming remarks from Kathleen Staks, CEO of the Colorado Energy Office, and a partnership overview from Les Abelson, North America program director of the Israel Innovation Authority.
A second B2B event -- also open to the public -- will be held April 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Innosphere, 320 E. Vine Drive in Fort Collins.
Invitees include local companies, investors, and energy corporations that want to meet all 15 Israeli companies visiting Colorado to learn more about the U.S. energy industry.
The agenda will include informative sessions on cleantech resources, capital acquisition, and presentations from both Israeli and Colorado energy companies.
