HeartHero said it will leverage Minnesota-based VivaQuant's groundbreaking arrhythmia technology to detect fatal heart rhythms and provide crucial lifesaving technology.

In September, HeartHero won the ACEP InnovatED competition for most innovative medical device for 2018.

In order to provide the most accessible and most affordable lifesaving technology, HeartHero paired with VivaQuant, Inc. VivaQuant will provide HeartHero with state-of-the-art embedded algorithms for processing ECGs as well as services for analyzing ECG data.

"We are extremely pleased that HeartHero has chosen VivaQuant technology to build the next generation AED,” said Brian Brockway, Vivaquant CEO.

“Their vision for the product is very impressive. It's going to be something that every family that cares about their parents and grandparents will want for them."

HeartHero said it is dedicated to providing the best performing AED on the market with exciting features that together foster an ecosystem to improve the quality of care for patients at risk of arrhythmias.

Seamless systems of connected lifesaving alerts coupled with an affordable and truly portable device, has given way to new life-changing technologies. HeartHero, with the added benefit of VivaQuant's ECG software, is bridging the gap between the victim and EMS to heighten the chances of survival.

"We are proud to partner with an innovative and forward-thinking company like VivaQuant," said Gary Montegue, CEO of HeartHero.

"By integrating their state-of-the-art machine learning and noise reduction technology into our device, I know we will save more lives and that is truly the passion behind both companies."
