FORT COLLINS -- Digital Workshop Center (DWC) is now offering a monthly training scholarship for veterans, their spouses and children up to $2,500 per month for qualified participants.
The goal of the scholarship is to create a positive impact on our community and those who have served our country, according to Digital Workshop.
DWC said the best way it can support veterans and local communities is to help up-skill the veteran workforce and help them to succeed with technology skills after their service is complete.
The scholarship may be applied to public, group classes in areas such as web design, graphic design, digital marketing, photo/video, and business administration.
Eligibility requirements and scholarship award rules can be found at https://digitalworkshopcenter.com/about/financial- aid/veterans-training-scholarship/
DWC is an approved training provider for students with veteran benefits through the GI Bill, Post 9-11 Bill, and related veteran programs.
In addition, DWC works closely with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Colorado Workforce Centers to provide technology skills training in the community.
Established in 2006, Digital Workshop Center is a community center for education, co-working and professional development.
