Cybersecurity is focus of Manufacturer’s Edge Sept. 21 event in Loveland

LOVELAND -- Manufacturer’s Edge will host “The Importance of Cybersecurity for Manufacturers” at The Ranch in Loveland on Sept. 21 from 3:30-4:30 p.m.manufacturers-edge-logo

The event will feature Pat Toth, computer scientist in the Programs and Partnerships Division at the NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

Toth will share how technology has evolved and empowered manufacturers in a variety of ways, with companies increasingly reliant on computer systems and IT.

According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, manufacturing is the second-highest industry suffering cyber attacks after the energy sector.

Also co-hosting the event is the NoCo Manufacturing Partnership and CAMA.

Cost to attend the event is $15 for NoCo members and $20 for others.
