CENTENNIAL -- Arrow Electronics, Inc.  (NYSE: ARW) and mobile enterprise security leader MobileIron   (NASDAQ: MOBL) announced a North American distribution agreement that will cover MobileIron’s entire product portfolio.Arrow_logoUSE

The deal marks California-based MobileIron’s first comprehensive distribution agreement in North America.

“Mobile security is becoming increasingly important as the number of mobile devices within the enterprise continues to proliferate,” said Dan Shea, VP of enterprise software for Arrow’s Enterprise Computing Solutions business in North America. “Arrow’s collaboration with MobileIron will provide our customers with the mobile security solutions they need to keep their entire networks safe.”

MobileIron secures corporate data in a world of mixed-use devices. With MobileIron, companies can protect employees’ privacy by separating corporate data and apps from personal data and apps, and they can keep corporate data secure by authenticating users, apps and devices before granting access to network resources.

IT administrators can securely manage the lifecycle of the device and its applications—from registration to retirement—in order to rapidly accelerate their mobile deployments and scale their mobile management infrastructure.

“We’re delighted to announce our first comprehensive North American distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics,” said Barbara Huelskamp, VP of worldwide channels at MobileIron. “Arrow has global reach and years of experience bringing enterprise computing solutions to industrial and commercial markets.

“We’re excited to start the year announcing this important new step in MobileIron’s go-to-market strategy.”
