NREL said Energy Execs provides non-technical business, governmental, and community leaders throughout the country an opportunity to learn about renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies, analytical tools, and financing to guide their organizations and communities in energy-related decisions and planning.
Leaders in the private sector, communities, nonprofits and government are eligible to participate in the program. Participants are required to travel to NREL's main campus in Golden for four multi-day sessions from June through September.
Energy Execs was founded in 2007 and 22 participants are selected each year from a national pool of candidates.
The application deadline is March 31. To apply online, visit https://www.nrel.gov/workingwithus/energyexecs.html.
NREL is the U.S. Department of Energy’s primary national laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency research and development. NREL is operated for DOE by The Alliance for Sustainable Energy, LLC.
