DENVER -- Online applications are now being accepted for Proof of Concept and Early Stage Capital & Retention grants from the state’s Advanced Industries Accelerator Grant programs.
Applications are due by Sept. 7.
The grant programs were created by the state legislature in 2013 to promote economic growth and sustainability in Colorado’s advanced industries.
Those industries include aerospace, advanced manufacturing, bioscience, electronics, energy and natural resources, infrastructure engineering and technology and information.
Proof of Concept grants of up to $150,000 are open to Colorado research universities, federal labs located in Colorado and other labs with valid tech transfer offices. The grants are intended for pre-commercialization research and commercialization preparation.
Early Stage and Retention grants of up to $250,000 are available for companies commercializing innovative technologies to create viable products that meet a market need and can be created or manufactured in Colorado and exported globally.
