AWE offers education scholarships to help women entrepreneurs

FORT COLLINS -- Allied Women Entrepreneurs  (AWE), a 501c3 nonprofit headquartered in Fort Collins, is offering Allied in Business Improvement Scholarships in Northern Colorado.AWE_logoUSE

Scholarships are available to AWE members at any level and to the public. Funds may be applied to the cost of classes or programs offered by AWE’s partner organizations, accredited two-and four-year colleges and universities, and other approved institutions in Colorado, Wyoming or nationwide.

AWE said it created Allied in Success to encourage and empower women to challenge themselves to build better businesses. The scholarships are funded through donations, member dues and sponsorships as a way for AWE to make business-related education accessible to all women, AWE said.

AWE’s supporters include The Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado, All Star Cleaning Services, Colorado Vapors, Fort Collins Brewery, Ace Gilletts Lounge, Judith Hamman and the Mainline.
